The Oil Region Paranormal Investigation Team had a great time at the Hotel Conneaut, located in Pennsylvania.

We were asked by DC and the Family Radio Show to hold an investigation at the hotel during their live Halloween ’08 radio broadcast.

For the short amount of time that we were investigating there were a lot of personal experiences.

One of the DC Crew reported that while sleeping in room 302 she awoke to someone banging on the door.  She thought it was DC and the rest of the crew so opened the door to find that it was just kids messing around.  She then closed the door and before she could lock the door, the door locked itself.

During the investigation the team went to room 310.  While in the room one investigator asked for whoever was in the building to knock on the walls, make the fan move ect.  During review of the audio we captured a voice during the time the investigator was asking for the spirit to do something say “no”.  Below is the audio clip.  Listen right after the investigator says make the fan move.

Another occurrence happened to our team while conducting a K2 session in room 310.  We were standing at least eight feet from the door when the door unlatched and opened slightly.  Below is the audio clip of the door unlatching itself.

The next occurrence happened within a few minutes of the door unlatching.  We were still in room 310 and heard noised coming from the rear stair well.   One investigator mentions something to the effect of was that in the stairwell?  This is what we captured on audio.  About six seconds in to the recording we believe that it is a voice saying get lost.

Another notable occurrence happened to one of the DC crew members while standing guard in the hallways to be sure no one tampered with any equipment.  She was leaning against the wall with one shoulder.  The next thing we see is she is running right at us and seemed to be absolutely frightened.  Once she calmed down and caught her breath she told us that while she was standing there she felt someone grab one of her shoulders.  She immediately turned around and there was no one there.

Another experience reported by the DC crew was when everyone was in room 310 conducting a K2/EVP session.

One of the investigators snapped a photo and one of the crew immediately said that he saw a dark shadow on the bed that looked like a human figure from the waist up.

Within a matter of seconds of this shadow being reported the K2 began showing readings of a change in the electro-magnetic field.  The K2 was sitting on the bed for 10 minutes with no readings prior to this event.

The last experiences occurred while we were all in the ballroom.  Again the K2 was being used and was placed near the edge of a table.  Questions were asked for quite a while with no response.

One investigator then asked if Elizabeth was in the room to walk to the K2 and make the lights come on, and they did.  This occurred four to five times with an investigator asking Elizabeth to make the lights on the K2 meter come on and they did each time and only when Elizabeth was asked to make the lights come on.

On another occasion while in the ballroom one of the DC Crew was clutching a bible and praying.  She reported to us that as she began to pray for the group that the K2 was doing odd thing with lighting up.  (This was while we were asking no questions).  After she told us this investigators asked what ever was in the room to acknowledge that the crew member was praying and holding a bible and the K2 began registering fairly strongly.  A few more questions were asked as to the praying and on each occasion after the question was asked the K2 would light up.

The only time the K2 did not register a reading is when someone asked the spirit to make the lights light up if it did not want anyone praying or carrying a bible.  After the question the K2 did not activate so we are guessing that whatever was in that part of the hotel did not mind religion.
