ORPIT conducted an investigation at a private residence in Union City on March 7, 2009.
Investigators arrived at the residence at approximately 8:00pm where they spoke with the client about the claims of activity.
The client reported to the investigators that the house was built in 1999 by an uncle along
with his grandparents. The client reported that his apartment used to be occupied by his grandparents with whom
he was very close. The client reported that after his grandmother passed away and his grandfather
moved out of the apartment, he then began to live there. The client reported that some of the activity consisted of
his front door opening. He showed us the door which automatically locks with a dead bolt type lock when the door
is shut. He reported that he would be sitting in his living room and the kitchen door would open for no apparent reason.
He would then go back over and shut the door and it would stay shut. He also reported seeing a quick flash
of light in another room without any explanation to it's origin. The client also reported to us that most of the
activity occurring in the residence usually occurred the most when he would have females at his residence.
He also reported that when his girlfriend at the time was in bed once, she felt something
touch her back and also had an experience where it appeared that something sat on the corner of the bed.
He also reported that one time he sat a bag on his kitchen table and the bag appeared to be pushed off of the table and into
his garbage can which sits approximately 5 feet away without anyone around it.
The client also told us that a physic had come to his apartment and walked through and upon
entering his bedroom looked out the window and seen an older man in dirty uniform type clothing standing outside the window
but could only see the man from the waist up and then he was gone. The client told us that he did some research on the
land and found that it used to be used as a logging land.
The client also reported that after his grandmother passed away, he was sleeping one night
and when he awoke he looked up in the corner of his room and observed what he believed to be his grandmother's face looking
at him and then it disappeared.
ORPIT then began set up of the equipment for the commencement of the investigation.

Prior to the start of the investigation and while set up was occurring, ORPIT investigator
Mark Fornof was standing in the kitchen area by the front door when he heard the door unlatch and looked over and observed
the door to be open. Some of the client's family members had come in the door approximately 10 minutes before
that he asked if they latched the door upon entering. Everybody stated that they had.
Upon starting the investigation, ORPIT members tried to debunk the door opening but could
not come up with a reasonable explanation for such an occurrence. ORPIT investigators did not
have any more personal experiences or strange happenings occur which could provide explanations for the client.
Throughout the course of the investigation, ORPIT captured a total of:

6 hours and 40 minutes of audio
3 hours and 4 minutes of video
on the handheld video recorders
