Knickerbocker Event 09-12-09

 

The Oil Region Paranormal Team assisted with another live event at the Knickerbocker Hotel on 9-12-09.

We assisted a local team of psychic/mediums during their over night tour.

Everyone had a great time and everyone with the tour group reported some type paranormal experience that ranged from touches, smells, voices ect.

We were also on hand when it appeared that “Henry” became fond of one of the psychics in the group and sat on her lap as she sat on the floor.

This member of the group stated that she felt that someone (a small child) was sitting on her lap.  She was handed an EMF meter and it was apparent that some energy force was in fact sitting on her left knee/thigh area.

Another odd thing that occurred was that two people not scheduled to attend the event showed up at the front door.  This in itself was not odd. What was odd is that just prior to the newcomers arrival is that investigators were talking with the owner of the Knickerbocker and going over old records (birth, death, deeds, maps, ect) and discussing that the owner would like to talk to the next generation of a certain family that once owned the hotel but was not able to locate any information on who the next of kin may be.  We were all astounded to find out that the new comers we the next generation of the individuals that the owner and investigators were speaking about.

As is this was not weird enough, it got weirder.  One of the tour members, another psychic seemed to be very attracted to the one female newcomer, engaging in deep conversation and readings that the newcomer claimed to be spot on.

This psychic then nearly broke in to tears and explained that he had a vision just two days prior to this event where he got a flash in his mind of a woman.  He went on to explain that he had sketched the image that he saw on to a drawing pad but failed to bring the drawing with him.  He then realized that he did bring the drawing and that it was in the car.

To make a very long story short our team as well as the female newcomer viewed this sketch and the likeness was outstanding.  The psychic had matched the lipstick, eyeliner, skin tone and nationality to a tee.

The whole experience was one of those, for a lack of better terms, “had to be there to believe it” type of situations.

In closing we would like to share a photo that was captured by one of the O.R.P.I.T. investigators near the close of the night.

The photo was taken on the second floor of the Knickerbocker in the rear portion of the hotel.  We have included the original photo as well as the blown up photo.

You can see the hallway, the exit door and three of the members from the tour group.  Look closely to the left of the three members of the group. There is an unknown shadow type figure.

This is the blown up portion of the same photo.  Now you can clearly see the three members of the tour group and the shadow now has a distinctive form.

We feel that it appears to be a tall woman who is walking through the entranceway from the hall to the rear stairwell.  It appears to be the back half of a figure.  You can see the back of the head that has a pulled up hairstyle,  the back of the shoulders, the back, and the buttock area.   

We propose that this is a tall female in a dress that is walking out off the hall to the rear steps.

O.R.P.I.T. had a great time meeting with the new group and cant wait for the next event.
